Welcome! This is Simon. I am the Founder and CEO for Metaroots.

Prior to Metaroots’s founding, I served as the Social Media and Public Information Coordinator for the City of South San Francisco. During my time there, I led nine City Departments in establishing the City’s digital presence across various social media channels, resulting in the City’s robust expansion online.

One of the key reasons I started Metaroots was because I recognized the need for social media on the local level.

Strategic social media marketing, while effective and far-reaching, is oftentimes beyond the reach of small businesses and brands, at least in terms of attention and expertise.

This is especially true for small businesses such as restaurants that are in need of social media services, but must consider costs and the efficiency.

I founded Metaroots for this very reason -to help small businesses and restaurants attain the benefits of social media while saving on time and resources.

Social Media Manager – Winnie Hong

Winnie is responsible for Metaroots’s day-to-day operations, which include tracking client accounts and expenditures, developing data-driven infographics, and managing company assets.

As a San Francisco State University Graduate with a lifetime’s experience working as one of the Managers for her family supermarket, Winnie has a deep understanding of what it takes to run a small business effectively and to succeed in a competitive environment.
